PELL GRANT AWARDS FOR STUDENTS NOW DOUBLED BEGINNING SUMMER 2009WHAT DOES THIS MEAN TO YOU? Your Pell Grant Award per year is now doubled to give you the additional funding you need to cover summer school. You can now receive a Pell Grant for summer school even though you were/are a full time student during the fall and spring semesters. If you attend only for fall and spring, there is no change to your scheduled award. You can enroll for any number of credits per semester to receive the 1st scheduled Pell award. However, in order to receive the 2nd Pell award, you must enroll for at least 6 credits per semester. To take advantage of this opportunity, you must complete your 2009-2010 FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov and complete the ACM Financial Aid Application.
