Governing and Guiding ACM’s Future
Our seven-member Board of Trustees oversees ACM’s academic, administrative, and financial
operations. As our governing body, these individuals from our region are appointed
by the Maryland governor to serve six-year terms and may be reappointed, as desired.
They serve without compensation and are vetted annually to prevent conflicts of interest.
The State of Maryland requires the ACM Board of Trustees to meet at least four times
a year. Additional meetings and special sessions may be called by the board chair.
The ACM Board of Trustees Public Session meetings, held in the Board Room, are open
to the public with the exception of their Executive Session meetings.
