What you need to do?
  • Register to attend a New Student Orientation Session
  • Get your ACM Student ID photo taken and use it to take advantage of services on-campus, as well as discounts off-campus
  • Join one of the many Student Clubs/Organizations on campus.
  • Attend an educational/cultural/social event.
What do we do?
  • Facilitate 5-15 New Student Orientation Sessions prior to each semester.
  • Provide guidance, support and funding to ACM’s 30+ Student Clubs and Organizations.
  • Offer a variety of educational, cultural, and social events each semester.
  • Produce ACM ID Cards for students and employees.

Student Government Association
The Student Government Association (SGA) functions as the governing organization of the student body. It serves as a means of participation in College governance with the faculty, staff, and administration and acts for the students.  

SGA allocates funds from the student fee, coordinates campus social activities, and approves new campus student organizations. Activities are planned according to student interest and available resources.

Student Fee
The Student Fee supports officially recognized student clubs and organizations, varsity sports, intramural sports, the tutoring program, counseling services, online health/mental health resources, and all SGA sponsored activities and trips.

ACM Student ID Card
With your ACM Student ID, you receive free or reduced admission to all SGA sponsored events, free admission to all ACM sporting events (excluding any post-season games), access to the Gym, Pool, and Wellness Center (all located in the Physical Education building), free rental of gym clothes and equipment, free tutoring through the various Study Labs on campus and discounts at participating merchants.

New Student Orientation

During New Student Orientation, you will learn about the many services that are available to you as a student, how to get involved on campus, how to succeed academically, safety policies/services, and you’ll also have opportunities to engage with College staff, faculty, and other students. Participation in Orientation is critical to student success and reaching academic goals.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • When can I get my ACM Student ID Card?
    Photos for your ACM Student ID Card will be taken during your New Student Orientation session. If you are unable to attend a New Student Orientation session, you can stop by the Photo ID room, located in the College Center to see the current hours of operation.
  • What do I need to bring with me to get an ACM Student ID Card?
    Students are required to provide proof of ID and a current semester class schedule in order to obtain an ID. The cards will have an expiration date printed on them.
  • My ACM Student ID Card is expired, but I’m still taking classes at ACM. What should I do?
    Take your expired ACM Student ID Card and a current semester class schedule to the Photo ID room to get a free updated card. (If you don’t have your expired card, you will need to pay the replacement fee.)
 

  • How much does a replacement ACM Student ID Card cost?
    $20
  • Do I have to attend New Student Orientation?
    New Student Orientation is mandatory for all new students. Participation in Orientation is critical to your student success and reaching your academic goals.
