ALLEGANY COLLEGE OF MARYLAND OFFERS VIRTUAL INFO SESSIONS:

College Moves to Zoom to Reach Future Trojans

CUMBERLAND, Md. (Apr. 3, 2020) – Allegany College of Maryland’s (ACM) recruitment staff will hold virtual question and answer sessions through Zoom from April 13 to April 26 for prospective students and their families.

The virtual information sessions will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays. Information about connecting to the Zoom calls will be shared on ACM’s website and social media accounts – Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

ACM college recruiters will discuss programs of study, transfer options, financial aid, scholarships and on-campus housing. Zoom meeting participants will have the chance to ask questions. Unlike in-person recruitment events, participants can jump onto Zoom sessions to ask a question and jump off when they have the information they need.

For immediate questions, future students and their families can text and email a recruiter.

The Spring Open House originally scheduled for April 18, 2020 at ACM’s Cumberland campus is canceled due to current COVID-19 Stay at Home directives. Virtual campus tours (through Roundme) and additional future student information are available.

“We’re always up for new ways to connect with future Trojans and their families. We’re ready to share information about our programs and services as well as our enrollment process, whether that’s through texts, emails or Zoom,” said Sue Rowan, ACM’s Coordinator of Student Recruitment.
