(Aug. 1, 2019) – Allegany College of Maryland’s Bedford County Campus will host its New Student Orientation on Tuesday, August 13 from 5 to 7 p.m. New student orientation offers mini-sessions designed to simplify the college experience and introduce new students enrolling in the fall semester to available services.
Mini-session topics include: student services, financial aid, scholarships, computer services, college survival skills and library services. Particular attention will be paid to introducing students to the many programs within student services, including: career development, crisis counseling, disability services, support systems, the testing lab and tutoring. Students may also have their Student ID photograph taken.
The campus, located at 18 North River Lane in Everett, offers more than 40 day and evening courses during the fall semester. Fall registration remains open with classes beginning on Monday, August 19. Students may preview the fall semester schedule at allegany.edu/coursecatalog.
