Q & A
What do you enjoy most about your position at ACM? The students. I love seeing them learn and grow, not only as students but as leaders,
throughout the semester. I enjoy working with the Honors and Phi Theta Kappa students.
They get so excited about our service to the college and community. I am very proud
of every one of them!
What is your vision for the future of ACM? My vision is that we continue to serve the students. That is why we are here. I hope
that we continue to make ACM a great place to be a student and an employee!
Who mentored you in your career at ACM? 20 years ago, Ken Warnick asked me if I would like to teach one music class at the
Somerset campus. I had no idea where that would take me! He was definitely an influence
on me as a teacher.
What advice would you give to a prospective student interested in enrolling at ACM? DO IT! You will not regret your decision! I work with many students through PTK and
Honors outside the classroom and they always talk about how ACM feels like family!
I totally agree! We are a family here and the students feel like they belong!
Did you take classes at ACM? If so, how did it prepare you for your career? No, I did not.
