Submit Admissions Application
Send an official copy of your high school transcript and SAT/ACT scores if taken.
Note: A final high school transcript is required upon graduation. In addition, transcripts from other college attended must be submitted for evaluation.
Early College Program Participants - get written permission letter from guidance counselor or high school principal.
Retrieve your username and password from your person email account. This information is needed to log into various ACM systems including WebAdvisor and Academic Works.
Schedule to take a campus tour and/or attend an open house. Consider doing this during your junior year of high school.
Contact the Student Success Center to set up a time to take the placement assessment.
Exception: You can be exempt from taking the placement assessment if you have taken the SAT and scored at least 500 on each section or the ACT and scored at least 21 on each section.
Review the ACM Foundation Scholarship Catalog and apply for scholarships online.
First deadline date is January 31st for the following fall and spring semesters.
Complete the FAFSA - online at www.fafsa.gov. ACM's FAFSA Code is 002057
It is available beginning January 1st. A priority date of February 15th is recommended but not required; the FAFSA should be completed as early as possible.
Complete the application for on-campus housing - Willowbrook Woods -- if interested in living the Cumberland campus.
Early application deadline date is April 30th.
Meet with an academic advisor to schedule courses. Contact the Advising Center at 301-784-5654.
Set up a payment plan. Tuition and fees not covered by financial aid must be paid in full upon registering.
Attend a new student orientation session.
