CUMBERLAND, Md. (Mar. 27, 2023) – Allegany College of Maryland will host a spring
open house event on Sat., April 15. Advance registration is required and available
at www.allegany.edu/openhouse. Sign in begins at 8:30 a.m. Future students and their families will have the chance
to meet one-on-one with faculty members and student recruitment staff to learn how
academic programs can lead directly to a career or transfer to a four-year institution.
Tour campus and education sites.
Guided campus tours are offered at 9:30 and 11 a.m. Tours of Willowbrook Woods, the college’s student housing complex, are available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendees
wishing to visit the School of Hospitality Management & Culinary Arts or Western Maryland Works at ACM should arrive prior to 9:30 a.m.
Vouchers for lunches in the college café will be provided. Student Services Offices are open until 1:30 p.m., and registration for summer and fall courses will be available. Tuition vouchers will be awarded. All prospective students receive an ACM Future Student gift bag.
Families may also experience the Mid-Atlantic Woodsmen’s Competition.
