Being an ACM Allied Health student isn’t easy but our instructors are here to help.
In your experience, what are the “superpowers” that make a great instructor stand
out? They are caring. They care that you learn the material. They are flexible and work
with your schedule.
Has there been a moment in class or an interaction with an instructor or staff member
that stands out to you? Tell us about it. Not really – care about you passing.
What’s been your superpower that’s made you a great Allied Health student? Dedicated and trustworthy. I am a mom of three, running a home and going to school.
I do as much as I can without taking too much from myself.
What’s your favorite piece of technology at school or work? Computers -what they offer-easier to get work done, homework, and school projects.
What 3 things do you like (or love, we’ll always take love) about the courses in your
major? The materials are interesting – the teachers make it fun to learn.
What experience (or class) at ACM surprised you the most? Nursing Assistant class itself – I didn’t realize how into depth it went into health
disorders, medical terminology, and body systems and how they work.
What are your plans after graduation? Find a job in the area nursing home. I want to help elderly people. I am currently
caring for a dementia patient and they need special attention – not enough people
know how to take this on – need to understand the patients needs.
