Frostburg State University	Enhanced Transfer Agreement		Facilitates the seamless transfer to FSU of qualifying ACM students who have earned the Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS), Associate of Applied Science (AAS), and Associate of Arts in Teaching (AAT) degrees. Qualifying students begin post-secondary education at ACM, earn their associate degree, and transfer to FSU to complete a bachelor's degree. Eligible students earn a renewable transfer scholarship at FSU and are assured of on-campus housing at FSU if needed. Automotive Technology

I. PROGRAM: It is the intent of this agreement to update the existing articulation agreement between Allegany College of Maryland (ACM) and the Allegany County Public Schools (ACPS) in the program area of Automotive Technology. The ACPS Automotive Technology program is located at the Center for Career and Technical Education (CCTE). The articulated credits may be applied only to the AAS degree in Automotive Technology or the Automotive Technology one-year certificate program.

II. ELIGIBLE COLLEGE CREDIT: Students will be eligible to receive up to (12) articulated college credit for the courses listed below.

The student must pass the NATEF End of Program tests in all areas to be considered for articulation.
Students wishing to obtain credit for Automotive 103, 114, and/or 215 must pass a practical test(s) with a score(s) of 80% or better, as administered by one or both of the Automotive Technology faculty at ACM.

II. ARTICULATED CREDIT: Students will be eligible to receive twelve or thirteen* (12 or 13*) college credits for Computer Technology courses which may be applied toward graduation requirements for the Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Technology – Area of Concentration in Cybersecurity or the Cybersecurity certificate. COMP-101 (Computer Literacy) is a required course in the Cybersecurity certificate and degree programs. Students an either take the course at ACM or complete via a Credit by ExamCBEBE). Students must complete and pass the COMP-101 course or Credit by Exam in order to receive college credit for that course.

Criminal Justice

I. PROGRAM: It is the intent of this agreement to update the existing articulation agreement between Allegany College of Maryland (ACM) and the Allegany County Public Schools (ACPS) in the program area of Criminal Justice. The ACPS Law Enforcement/Public Safety program is located at the Center for Career and Technical Education (CCTE).

II. ARTICULATED CREDIT: Students will be eligible to receive three (3) college credits for (CRIM-101) and three (3) college credits (CRIM-102) under the conditions specified below. The articulated credit for CRIM-101/102 only applies to the Criminal Justice Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree, the Criminal Justice Certificate, and the Criminal Justice/Corrections Letter of Recognition programs. Articulated credit for CRIM-101/102 cannot be used as elective credit in any other ACM program. Students who complete the entire CCTE law enforcement program and who complete CRIM 103 and CRIM 104 online will receive articulated credit for CRIM 102 and will be awarded the criminal justice jump start certificate.

GUARANTEED ADMISSION THROUGH ARTICULATION: The articulated agreement will apply to guarantee (2) two seats into the Medical Assistant program. The Medical Assistant program has a systematic ranking process to determine the top two (2) candidates.

IV. BENEFITS: Credits will be posted as "credit by articulation" on the official college transcript. Students will receive credit, but no grade, for the articulated course. There will be no effect on the student's college GPA. There will be no tuition or other charges associated with obtaining credit in this manner. Students who have received articulated credit have realized considerable savings on the cost of college tuition.

V. CONCLUSION: This agreement can be amended or discontinued at any time by either party, with adequate notice to avoid hindering the educational plans of students.
