Imhotep George, a freshman, is a guard from Laurel, Maryland. In his first season with the ACM Trojans, he averaged 25.4 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game in the month of February.
On February 10, 2020, George scored 50 points in a game against the Butler County
Community College Pioneers, breaking Tim Scalletta’s December 2, 1967 school record
of 47 points. George was named the NJCAA National Player of the Week following the
record-shattering game.
“Imhotep has consistently improved as the year progressed. We challenged him to change
his game and grow as a player. He was our most consistent offensive player this year
and his stellar month of February is a highlight of things to come next year,” said ACM Head Coach Tommie Reams.
At 6’7” and 180 pounds, George is a 2018 graduate of Meade Senior High School. He
is a general studies major at ACM.
