Business, Accounting, and Economics Programs

Business principles run our global economy, from tiny nonprofits to Fortune 500 companies, from small business owners to foreign enterprises. If you're interested in joining an established organization or starting your own company, an Allegany College of Maryland Business, Accounting or Economics degree is your powerful first step. With your degree, you'll find possible career options at large corporations, small businesses, banks, colleges, government agencies, hospitals, and nonprofits.

Associate’s programs require the completion of 60 credit hours.

Certificate programs require the completion of 30 credit hours.  If you decide to continue your education beyond the certificate, all 30 credits can be applied to an associate’s program.

Letter of Recognition programs require the completion of between 9 and 11 credit hours.

Our career program in Business Management is designed for students who plan to enter the workforce upon receiving their degree.

Our transfer programs are designed for students who plan to transfer to four-year colleges upon completing their studies at Allegany College of Maryland.
