CUMBERLAND, Md. (May 10, 2023) – Allegany College of Maryland’s respiratory therapist class of 2023 will hold the college’s annual Great Strides/Mission for Mya walk to raise funds to battle cystic fibrosis beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, at the mile track near the Physical Education Building. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
The walk is dedicated to Mya Harris whose life-long battle with cystic fibrosis sadly ended in 2012. National Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month began on May 1.
