The Allegany College of Maryland Theatre Club will present three performances of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast during the weekend of November 15-17. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance.
CUMBERLAND, Md. — Nov. 8, 2024 — The new Allegany College of Maryland Theatre Club invites the community to imagine themselves in a castle in the French
countryside as it debuts its first theatrical production, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Under the direction of Associate Professor of Music Melody Gaschler, the ACM Theatre
Club will host performances of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at 7 p.m. on Friday,
November 15 and Saturday, November 16, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 17. Performances
take place in the Dr. Robert F. Zimmer Theatre in ACM’s College Center.
General admission tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students. Admission is free
for children ages 5 and younger. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance
from November 11-14. To purchase advance tickets, please email Brenda Mathews.
More than 30 students, faculty, staff and their family members are involved in the
Theatre Club’s production. In addition to her role as director, Gaschler serves as
the Theatre Club’s faculty advisor.
Disney's Beauty and the Beast is presented through a special arrangement with Music
Theater International (MTI).
