Brightspace, a Web-based LMS application supports the following list of browsers that are the latest or most recent versions that are tested against new versions of D2L products.
Other browsers and operating systems may work well, however, the listed configurations are the only configurations that are tested and supported by Brightspace.
Students enrolled in the nursing program must have access to a computer on a daily basis and be able to create, submit, and retrieve documents and documentation electronically.
Allegany College of Maryland (ACM) recognizes individuals have choices when selecting a computer: a Windows Based Computer (PC = personal computer such as Dell, HP, etc.) or a Macintosh (MAC= Apple brand) etc. However, it should be understood that the college is primarily a “PC” campus and is best able to support “PC” computers.

Office 365 is the most prevalent office suite software package used on campus. Some courses and external testing websites used in the nursing curriculum will require the use of specific tools, such as Power Point or Excel, found in the Office 365 suite. Therefore, it is highly recommended students use Office 365 products for coursework.
A computer that meets the specifications below is recommended.
