Allegany College of Maryland is underscoring its status as a regional institution
of higher education with reduced tuition for eligible students in nearby Pennsylvania
and West Virginia counties that share a border with Allegany County.
A 20% tuition discount is applied for residents of Bedford, Fulton and Somerset counties
in Pennsylvania and Hampshire, Mineral and Morgan counties in West Virginia for students
enrolled at the Cumberland campus or in online courses.
Pennsylvania residents enrolled at ACM's Bedford County Campus receive a 10% tuition
discount over the standard out-of-state rate. In addition, students may also be eligible
for an education subsidy through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (historically $80
or more per credit hour.)
