About the Event
Six judges will perform a blind tasting of 10 contestants. Contestants are required to bring a two-gallon sample of beer to the competition, which they must have brewed at home using their own brewing supplies.
Sanitary Guidelines
There are no regulations from the Maryland State Health Department for home brewing
in competitions. However, sanitation is very important in the brewing process and
all participants must be knowledgeable on sanitary practices.
