Fall '24 Transfer Fair

Established in 1961, Allegany College of Maryland is one of 16 colleges within the Maryland Association of Community Colleges. We offer 48 two-year degree programs (A.A., A.S., A.A.S. and A.A.T.), 31 certificate programs, and 10 letter of recognition programs. We also have 121 transfer agreements with 21 colleges and universities. More than 50% of Allegany County residents who are enrolled in a Maryland college attend ACM.

• 43% are in-county, 13% are in-state, and 44% are out-of-state
• The average student age is 24
• 80% are first-generation
• 42% are first time students
