Why did you choose your major? I have diabetes and I want to cook better. I also received scholarships; $10,000 for
the first time and $5,000 for the second (disability from military service and cannot
work).
What made you choose Allegany College of Maryland? It was close – a short drive.
How has your experience been at ACM? Very nice! Very nice people. David Jones alone has helped me a couple of times.
Why would you recommend Allegany College of Maryland to future students? The staff at ACM is friendly and helpful, and there are events for everyone to participate
in.
What advice would you give future college students? Look into grants and scholarships – lots of them. There are plenty of ways to go to
school without it costing an arm and a leg.
