Where are you from? I was born in Liberty, MO but after my parents divorced my mother brought us here
to Everett, PA.
Why did you choose your major? After losing a career in corporate Taco Bell due to COVID-19, I started working for
UPMC. I wanted to do more to help but did not have the education or degree to do so.
What made you choose Allegany College of Maryland? ACM has always been on the top of my list due to its location, affordability, and
the high variety of courses offered.
How has your experience been at ACM? ACM has provided an amazing experience so far. Anyone on staff is willing to help
you out. The professors are kind, understanding, and provide extra attention when
needed.
What do you like best about ACM? My professors. They make every day worth coming to school. It is much easier when
they make learning fun and connect on a personal level.
When will you graduate and what are your plans after college? 2025-2026 depending on a few classes. My plans include utilizing my current esthetician
license and RN to work with a dermatologist or oncologist. I would also like to work
in an ER to gain skills and experience.
